Description
Designed around the principles of passive solar heating, this modern family home uses light-wells and local granite to create a bright, airy refuge that pays homage to Limpopo’s open skies.
Central to the home is a triple-volume atrium that acts as the "lungs" of the building, facilitating natural ventilation. The use of local stone masonry connects the project to the geology of the region, providing a sense of permanence and grounding in the suburban landscape.
